The Beauty Shop Haul

I recently went to visit The Beauty Shop to get ONE item which was a Body Scrub from Bomb Cosmetics but I ended up buying plenty of stuff and I thought of sharing it in this post.

Vamp Stamp

I’ve seen this in multiple ads on Twitter and I really wanted to try it, Brooke Clarke did an amazing review on it last month and it encouraged me to get it. I got Large because the price tag was covering the part where it’s written so I had to return it and get Medium even though I wanted to get Kitten size since I don’t like that dramatic winged line. I’m very impressed with this product because it created the perfect shape when I stamped it, it took few tries to get it right but it’ll definitely make my life easier.

Brush Cleaning Egg

Cleaning my brushes is one of my dreaded chores, and this tool made it so much easier. It cleans the brushes pretty well and it rests perfectly on my fingers while I use it, and it’s small enough to take it while travelling.

Bomb Cosmetics Mango & Vanilla Hair Mask

I won a giveaway on Bomb Cosmetics account that is run by a girl who provides the products to The Beauty Shop, one of the gifts that I received is a Shampoo bar called Flower Girl and I absolutely loved it. I thought of getting more hair products by this brand and test them out so I got this hair mask and it smells amazing. Like the name implies, it mostly smells fruity and I love it.

Bomb Cosmetics Scrubology Body Scrub

Finally the item I actually went to the shop to get, a body scrub. The reason why I chose this one in particular is because when I smelled the tester, I fell in love. It smells very floral and I’m pretty sure it’s roses, it was an instant yes to me. It made my skin really soft and moisturized since it’s oil based, the scent stayed for days.

Have you ever used these products before, let me know what you guys think. Hope you enjoyed this small haul post and have a great day.

The Beauty Shop Mini Haul

Hello everyone, I know it’s been awhile since I posted a haul post so I thought of doing it now during Eid days since I’m now less hectic I guess. The Beauty Shop is a store that sells Asian skincare products and also makeup, it’s been considered my favorite shop since I discovered it basically.

Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask

I originally wanted to have a facial at the salon before eid but I had a rather weird encounter at that salon and I’m planning to post it as a storytime entry since I didn’t really do those for awhile. I couldn’t do facial at the salon so I thought of buying a good mask to make my face less zombie-ish looking and I chose this one because it’s not my first time trying it. I’m in love with this face mask, it leaves the skin really soft and moisturized instantly after washing it off. When you apply the paste using a plastic spatula which is provided in the box itself, the paste starts to bubble up for awhile and that was interesting. I highly recommend trying it out.

Bomb Cosmetics Starlight Express Blaster

I posted about Bomb Cosmetics before, I love their bath bombs because they look quite pretty and they shed less than Lush bath bombs in my opinion. I got this blaster because .. Stars ? Let me confess that I love star themed items basically so I didn’t focus on the scent till I used it recently. It’s lemon scented and it looks like a beautiful dessert honestly.

Bomb Cosmetics Starlight Blaster

The next bath bomb is also stars themed and also a bit fruity scented. I didn’t use it yet but I would love to see how the stars spreads out in the water and make the bath look like a starry night sky.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this haul post, have a great day.

LightInTheBox Haul

It’s been awhile since I posted a haul entry, as you know I’m quite a shopaholic when it comes to online shopping. LightInTheBox is a website for some reason I can’t stop buying from, you would know from the previous posts that I did before.

I recently started watching Assassination Classroom and Danganronpa so I wanted to get something related to these anime so I got these two shirts:

 xtuhvt1463727701183Assassination Classroom Shirt

Price: $15.99

I LOVE Korosensei, I want him to be my teacher. I was excited to get this shirt for that but I was disappointed that it’s not exactly like the picture on the website. The sleeves weren’t black, it was a plain white but the middle graphic is exactly like the picture. It’s a normal shirt nothing special about it, I like it anyway.

.

zmnncc1402048941276Danganronpa Monokuma Shirt

Price: $19.99

I’ve always wanted to buy a Monokuma Plushie but I wouldn’t mind a shirt so I got this shirt. Like the previous shirt, it’s not like the picture on the website. The logo of Hope’s Peak Highschool on the sleeve isn’t there and also the logos on the back aren’t there which is disappointing because I was really looking forward for this shirt.

Overall, I was really disappointed with the quality of the shirts to be honest. I also bought another two shirts and yoga clothing set which turned out looking great so it’s not all bad haul but I thought of posting these two since they both go together under anime category while the other clothing items are more for the gym.

Hope you enjoyed this post and have a nice day.

Inkbox – The 2 Week Tattoo Review

I’ve always wanted to have a tattoo but for religious reasons I can’t so obviously I would search for alternatives even if they weren’t permanent but at least I would cross it off my bucket list. I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a sponsored ad in my feed of Inkbox and I was instantly interested since it was about tattoos that would last 2 weeks or more so I decided to try it out and see for myself if it was worth it.

Inkbox has a organic formula basically and it’s from an indigenous tribes from the Panama who have been tattooing their skin with the pulp of a fruit which is called Genipapo or Huito. I thought it was similar to henna since we used it as well and it gives a stain to the skin but not as black as this one so they are a bit different.

I ordered two tattoos to try out which are the Gualaca and Memento Mori, so I tried out Gualaca first which looks like this basically.

gualaca

It’s small and easy to place so I tried it on my shoulder and followed the instructions that came in the box with the whole kit. It doesn’t show instantly, it takes about 12 to 36 hours to fully become black and dark. The only mistake I did was when I was pressing the cloth on the tattoo, I readjust it few times which made the ink stain my skin on the outer parts of the tattoo and it looked like I’ve spray painted it with a stencil.

Knowing that mistake, I decided to do the second tattoo on my arm the next day. The box basically comes like this.

img_6375

The tattoo was bigger than the stars one I mentioned earlier so it took more space. Again I followed the instructions but this time I tried keeping the cloth in place. The whole process isn’t painful at all but I would say peeling the sticker of the tattoo when I was done was painful kinda.

Here’s the tattoo I tried.

memento_mori

Here’s how it looked like right after I peeled the sticker when I was done.

img_6376

And here’s how it looked like 12 hours later.

img_6378

I don’t why it spilled a bit of a leak on “Mori” but other than that I am so in love with it and it made me want to make it permanent because I’ve always wanted a tattoo of “Memento Mori”

and here’s how it looks like after two days

img_6397

Gualaca was $19 and Memento Mori was $23

As for how long these tattoos lasted, I noticed Memento Mori faded a lot faster than the stars. I could say they started to fade after the first week so I guess it satisfied the “2 Week Tattoo” part. In terms of color, The stars were a bit more black than Memento Mori which seemed more blue. I don’t know if it’s related to the skin type, location or even the pressure done when I applied them in the first place.

Overall, I’m honestly in love with these tattoos and I’m going to try different designs obviously and order more from the website.

Thank you for reading and have a great day.

LightInTheBox Haul

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a haul so I thought I’ll squeeze this one in since I made this order during Black Friday sales. I love shopping and I like showing off what I bought so obviously expect haul posts every once in a while.

miccrr1427289313168

Hakuna Matata Shirt
Price:
$7.99

I fell in love with this shirt the moment I saw it. It comes in one size and I would say it’s between M and L so it’s roomy and comfortable to wear. I love the colors, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to fade when you wash it. The material is light cotton so it’s more for spring and summer climate.

vyazjj1443147442674Solid Grey Shirt
Price: $9.99

The material of this shirt is quite thin cotton and not thick enough for colder weather. It’s quite loose but I got it in size XL anyway because I’m still insecure about my body shape. It’s really comfortable and long enough to be worn with a pair of leggings.

xffdcw1439290081674Patchwork Peach and Grey Blouse
Price: $15.99

I don’t know why the color is listed orange while it looks more peach-ish, anyway it looks really pretty in the picture but it turned out the inside part is see-through from front and back so you’ll need to wear something under it unless you’re fine showing your bra. I got it in size L because I like wearing these tops with leggings or skinny jeans, it fits really nicely.

Overall, LightInTheBox has literally anything I can think of and I know for fact I could waste all my money there and I won’t really regret it. I also bought a XIAOMI 3S android box since I’ve been enjoying Chromecast lately and I wanted to experiment if I can install VPN in it, problem is the device is fully functional in Chinese but there’re few tutorials how to change it to English. Anyway if you want me to  review these kind of devices, please let me know you in the comments.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul and have a great day.

Dresslink Haul

It’s been quite awhile since I did a Dresslink haul, it became my favorite shopping website. The website has changed couple of weeks ago and it looks really elegant and fancy, even the models photos are in higher quality so I had to check it out. The items I chose aren’t as cheap as the ones I reviewed before.

svb030775-1-dresslinkMermaid Tail Blanket

Price: US$ 14.24
I’ve always wanted to buy this blanket, I found it on Etsy for $60 so I was really thrilled to find it on Dresslink in a cheaper price. It’s really comfy and warm, I’m honestly obsessed with it already. The color is vibrant and pretty, my favorite.

amh006244_gr-2-dresslinkDrawstring Hooded Cloak Cape Asymmetrical Hem Dress

Price: US$ 13.31
I bought this because I’m going to UK soon and I’m sure it’s going to be cold by this time. I chose it in XL to be safe and I wanted some room so I can wear a lighter shirt under it. It’s really comfortable and thick so it’s going to keep me warm pretty well since I get cold way too fast.

Overall, I like Dresslink’s new changes in the website and service, they are still my favorite since they ship really fast. The items I received were higher quality than the clothes I bought before so I guess it explains why the prices went up slightly. I hope you enjoyed this mini haul from Dresslink, have a nice day.
