Long lengthy lashes … Pretty much my ultimate goal whenever I want to go a little bit extra. I don’t know why I question my feminine side because of how my lashes would look, for some reason I have that image in my head of fluttery lashes means I’m somehow more beautiful. I tried semi-permanent extensions before but that would need maintenance, and my excuse would be “Well I am a mom and I don’t have the time for it” so I discovered magnetic lashes.
One Two Lash is the first brand that uses this magnetic feature and I was quite interested in trying it out. I’m very bad in putting false lashes, the whole process is like rocket science to me so obviously I would look for alternatives. I chose the Original Lash for more of a natural everyday look and it costed $69, now I admit I wanted to try to cheaper ones on Amazon but I thought let’s see what’s the big hype about.
The packaging looked so fancy and impressive, the case came with two pairs for each eye so you would have extra in case you lost one. The case itself is magnetic so the lashes would sit in their places and not move around, which is really awesome. There was an applicator that supposed to help you but I didn’t really need it , in fact it made me more scared to put anything on my eye.
The case consists of a top and lower lash, the upper lash goes above your actual lash and the lower one which has a red dot goes under and the magnet between those two should hold on to your lashes … basically like a sandwich. Easy ? I wouldn’t say it didn’t take me sometime to get use to it but it’s definitely much easier than normal false lashes.
I’m sorry my camera just noped on the focus so this is the best shot I could get. After many attempts, I noticed the lashes doesn’t curve with the eye shape so I needed to get it as close as I can get to the lash line to make it look less fake than what I’m hoping for. The mascara and eyeliner helped in blending those lashes and made it look much better and I was so in love with my look, I wore it for about 6 hours so I can make my final judgement for these lashes.
At first I was aware of them but later on I didn’t feel anything and I completely forgot I was wearing them. They are not heavy because of the magnets, they weigh pretty much like any normal false lashes. And yes, they became easy for me to put on after few attempts to find the perfect spot and figure out how to manage the non-curvy part of these lashes.
Overall, I love them and for a newbie in false lashes world these magnetic lashes were so much easier for me to apply without going through the glue mess. Feel free to use this link to get 10% off if you wanted to get them yourself and hope you enjoyed this post.
