My Experience With L’Occitane Aromachologie Olivier Nourishing Collection

Before I start this post, let me just state that this entry is my own opinion and how it worked with me, it works differently with each person. With that being said, let’s start this post.

During my recent UAE visit, I went to L’Occitane store to get some products for my sister. I bought a face cream from there before that became my favorite after few uses so I trust this brand. While I was there, the lady working there mentioned a set of hair products that works best for dry damaged hair and it contains natural oils, also it’s silicon-free. I thought it sounds good since my hair is damaged from coloring and I wanted to use something natural like this product claims.

I bought the shampoo, conditioner and mask. I instantly used them when I got back home and it didn’t really meet my expectations. First time I tried the shampoo, I noticed that it doesn’t bubble up like shampoos usually do so I assumed it’s because it’s silicon-free. Now since it mentions it contains olive oil, you can clearly smell it as you apply it on your hair. I don’t mind the smell because it’s actually quite relaxing but I don’t like my hair smell that way.

After using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair was seriously dry and all over the place. That never happens to me since I have smooth tamed hair naturally even when damaged so I wanted to stop using those products. I didn’t want to instantly judge and hate them so I decided to continue using them for a month because maybe it takes time to affect my hair. It didn’t and my hair was more dry than before so after a month of using them now I’m giving up on these products. This set didn’t work for me and it dried my hair instead of fixing it as it claims, it might work for someone else maybe.

But that’s just my opinion, it might’ve worked for you and probably this set is your favorite so let me know your thoughts about it and what’s your favorite hair product.
