OwlCrate (Good vs Evil)

Yesterday I received my second OwlCrate and the theme of the month was Good vs Evil. Basically you’ll get either a good box or an evil box at random, and I honestly wanted an evil but unfortunately I got the good box. I don’t hate it though, I still love everything in it so let’s get into the unboxing.

In the good box you’ll either get Dobby or Luna Lovegood POP Figure from Funko and I’m so glad I got Dobby, I love him and I confess I cried when certain things happened to him -Don’t want to spoil the movie on anyone who didn’t watch it yet-

Millennium Falcon necklace from Vector Engraving. I confess I’m not exactly into the whole Star Wars thing -Please don’t hate me- but this necklace looks pretty cool, I’ll probably wear it anyway.

Alice magnetic bookmark from Jane’s Tiny Things. It’s bigger than last month bookmarks.

A sticker with quotes inspired from Illuminae designed by Drop and Give Me Nerdy. I’ll probably stick this to my husband’s face and be like “Look I’m romantic”.

A coloring book featuring covers from YA novels.

And finally the book of the month which is This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab.

There’s no such thing as safe in a city at war, a city overrun with monsters. In this dark urban fantasy from acclaimed author Victoria Schwab, a young woman and a young man must choose whether to become heroes or villains—and friends or enemies—with the future of their home at stake. The first of two books, This Savage Song is a must-have for fans of Holly Black, Maggie Stiefvater, and Laini Taylor.

Kate Harker and August Flynn are the heirs to a divided city—a city where the violence has begun to breed actual monsters. All Kate wants is to be as ruthless as her father, who lets the monsters roam free and makes the humans pay for his protection. All August wants is to be human, as good-hearted as his own father, to play a bigger role in protecting the innocent—but he’s one of the monsters. One who can steal a soul with a simple strain of music. When the chance arises to keep an eye on Kate, who’s just been kicked out of her sixth boarding school and returned home, August jumps at it. But Kate discovers August’s secret, and after a failed assassination attempt the pair must flee for their lives.

While reading this summary, I could say It’s a book I wouldn’t normally choose but it seem interesting. I haven’t finished last month book My Lady Jane so I’m planning to start on this one once I do.

As for next month theme, it would be Fast Times at YA High and it will feature a hilarious high school love story. It will also include items inspired by Hogwarts which I’m super excited about.
